The banner with the meat image got over 4 times as many clicks as the one with the cow. The frustrating thing is that A/B tests tell you what the winner is. But they don't tell you why.
The outcome was a big surprise to us. Some assume that the cow lost because the text takes more 'processing power' to understand the pun. Others say that the text on the left banner is a clickbait banner. And yet others think the meat talks to our lymbic (reptile) brain.
